Upper McAlpine Creek - Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project
This was one of Crowder’s first progressive design build Sanitary Sewer projects with Charlotte Water. The project consisted of over 2 miles of 30” gravity sewer, a mile and a half of trench rock blasting and 49 manholes. A total of 36 bypass pumping setups were required to construct the new 30” mainline that tied in to an active sewer. The project began in March of 2021 and wrapped up in January of 2023 and it was a huge success for both Crowder and Charlotte Water.
