MCRD BESS is a Battery Energy Storage System manufactured by Tesla.
Crowder Construction Company was a major subcontractor for the
project, which is part of an overall energy management system for the
site. Crowder’s scope of work consisted of batteries, inverters,
two 4,000A Switchboards and two 2,500kva 480/15,000V transformers
with equipment pads and the supporting electrical system. The system
has a capacity of 4MW/8MWhr. The project was completed in June 2018.
Crowder’s performance and quality of work resulted in a highly
satisfied client and Owner.
