From our humble beginnings as a family business started by brothers O.P. and W.T. Crowder in 1947, Crowder has grown exponentially. With just five employees, Crowder completed a set of concrete steps for Plaza Road Presbyterian Church. Today, 70 years later, we offer our high-quality expertise and professionalism in services that span the Southeast with over 1,000 employees.
Throughout the years, Crowder has worked closely with each customer to fashion delivery options that best meet their needs. While many projects are fulfilled by traditional delivery methods, we also offer collaborative efforts that are more specialized. These include Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC), Design-Build and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR).
Using a variety of methods, materials, and designs, Crowder tailors each bridge project in order to meet specifications. From projects that replace outdated infrastructure to connecting new roads to communities, we have completed hundreds of different types of railroad, pedestrian, and vehicular bridges while employing the latest techniques, meeting all regulations and staying within budget.
Similar to bridge projects, building dams involves an environmental impact that must be taken into consideration during construction. Using innovative and creative solutions to perplexing challenges, Crowder works closely with the pertinent agencies to ensure that objectives are met as well as regulations.
